These CoolCheck™ food pans combine the convenience of a non-ice cold holding solution with patent-pending color change technology to allow workers to quickly see when temperatures are no longer safe. Each Coldmaster® container is filled with a special, non-toxic refrigerant gel to eliminate the inconvenience and mess of ice. These CoolCheck™ food pans require one overnight "charge" in the freezer to keep contents at or below 41°F for 6 to 8 hours. As the product changes temperature, the vessel will change from blue to white. These CoolCheck™ food pans are safe for dishwasher cleaning to ensure maximum sanitation and are FDA and NSF approved.
