While they may look and feel like plastic, they are made with completely renewable materials that will not release harmful petrochemicals into the environment. These compostable cups will be fully composted within 90 to 120 days in a commercial composting facility. Flat or dome lids are sold separately. These compostable cups are clear with a green band.
