RETURN POLICY PROCEDURE

If you need to return an item, we ask that you call our Customer Service Department TOLL FREE 1-888-835-7929 for a Return Authorization Number. This number will help to speed up the return process and ensure your account is credited properly. We also ask that you complete the return information section on the back of your packing list and return it with your shipment.

All returns may be subject to a restocking fee. We cannot accept returns for special order items, custom merchandise or assembled merchandise.

SHIPPING

We make delivery easy and seamless. We stock over 30,000 products and ship 97% of our orders for these items within 24 hours. Shipping rates from our warehouse are based on delivery zone.

Items that must ship by truck because of their size or weight are noted with the Truck Ship icon For these deliveries freight will be quoted. Direct ship items (shipping direct from vendor warehouses) may also vary in freight charges. We recommend getting a quote for these items. To get a freight quote please add a comment requesting this on your order or call us at 1-888-835-7929 or email at customerservice@hubert.ca. On weekdays you will receive your quotation in 24 hours or less.

Hubert Distribution is a Canadian Company and our pricing is in Canadian funds. There are no extra duty or brokerage charges. Nor are there handling fees.


INSIDE DELIVERY

Carriers do not ordinarily provide inside delivery, therefore, you will need to unload your shipment from the carrier’s tailgate. If you need inside delivery or have other special delivery needs, please discuss them with your Account Service Representative at 1-888-752-3039 or customerservice@hubert.ca when you place your order.


DELAYED SHIPPING PROGRAM

  • You order everything you need at one time
  • You decide when you want to receive your order
  • We store everything you’ve ordered until you need it
  • You will not be billed until your order ships

DAMAGED SHIPMENT

Hubert is committed to making sure your order arrives in perfect condition. Orders are inspected when they are packed to ensure that they are in good condition when they leave our Distribution Center. However, accidents occasionally occur during shipping. If you see any damage when your order arrives, follow these steps:

Do not accept the shipment until the delivery person notes the damage on the freight bill. DO NOT UNPACK the shipment. Immediately call Hubert at 1-888-835-7929 to help proceed with correcting the shipment.

If you do not notice damage until after you have unpacked your order, save all boxes and packing material and call Hubert immediately to arrange accordingly. While we cannot accept any responsibility for damages that occur during shipping, we do want to see any damaged shipment issues resolved to your satisfaction. Please contact our Account Service Department at 1-888-835-7929 to help correct the shipment. .

You will be notified and your order will be processed as soon as your account has been approved. Often, this process can be completed within minutes. Invoices will be sent for all orders shipped on a Hubert Billing Account.

How do I look for a product on Hubert’s website?

There are three ways to search for products on our website :

  • Keyword Searches and Stock Number Searches display items that most closely match the entered word, number or phrase.
  • Home page, below the banner, there is a list of the different departments, once you click on one of them, it will provide you with all the results for that particular category
  • Additionally, you can locate products using the navigation menu found on the top left margin of every page. The navigation menu allows you to drill down from broad departments to more narrow ranges of products within a category based on product functionality.

ORDERING QUESTIONS

How do I use the Quick Order Form?

Enter the desired item numbers and quantities into the appropriate fields on the form. When all products to be ordered have been entered, you can use the Add To Cart button or your enter key to submit the items. The items will be added to your shopping cart. You may choose to view the shopping cart, place the order (check out), or continue shopping.

How do I proceed when an item is unavailable but listed in the catalogue?

If you are trying to purchase an item and a pop-up is stating that the item is unavailable, please connect with customer service at 1.888.835.7929 or customerservice@hubert.ca; one of our representatives would be more than happy to assist you in finding an equivalent item that will meet your needs.

What are the advantages of being a registered user?

When making your first online purchase, you will be asked to register. This one-time registration will make all your future purchasing faster and easier.

When checking the status of your order your customer number will be prefilled saving you time.

You have access to your personal Web purchase history allowing you to quickly locate previously ordered items, check past purchase totals or order frequency.

Placing your order is simplified because your shopping cart defaults to the last Shipping and Billing Addresses you used but you can use alternative addresses when you want to.


How do I place my order?

Firstly, if you have changed quantities or deleted any items from your shopping cart, click the Recalculate button. Then follow these easy steps:

  • Login In or Register to obtain a User Id
  • Select Your Method of Payment
  • Complete and Verify Your Customer Information
  • Complete and Verify Your Shipping And Billing Information
  • Review and Submit Your Order

You will receive an order confirmation number. Please retain this number for your records. This is the number you will need to check your order status and for any other communication regarding your order.


Is there a minimum order?

No. Every order -- whether it's $50 or $500 -- is as important to us as it is to you.
